Here are some causal looks proving you can still look chic with less. Anything that is comfortable, and makes getting ready easier is always right up my alley. What are your thoughts?

As promised, here is part two of ‘spring fever’. Floral crowns on our minds! I made my first floral crown about eight months ago, and plan to make many more. Be on the look out tomorrow for a photo from our shoot with me wearing the floral crown. It just might be Adalia’s Apparel spring accessory!

Swoon Worthy Saturday:
The closer Christmas gets, the more hectic everyone’s schedules get. So, it’s always nice to stop, take a few steps back, and focus on what you are loving that day/week. Here are some items that we are ‘swooning’ over!

Over the last few years my love for candles has been growing. Living a fast pace life makes it hard for me to stop, and slow down at times. So, I usually go to this candle as one of my remedies to let off some stress and to clear my head.
I was Christmas shopping the other day with Tyler, and was immediately drawn to these beautiful shoes! They come in three different styles. My favorite is a tie between the mint blue (shown above) and the coral pink ones!
If only I had a couple hundred to drop. I am in LOVE with geode rocks! Looking forward to some future projects involving these beautiful geode rocks.
Anthropologie has a way with making beautiful statement accessories! It never fails to
find myself gawking at their accessories online.
I am a long time fan of Burt’s Bees lip balm. So, I am sure you can understand how ecstatic I was when I first tried their tinted lip balm. Although this is a little more pricy then their regular lip balm, in my opinion, it is worth it! I have bought three of them so far and have been more then pleased with each one.
I came across this picture a long time ago, and ever since I was inspired to make my own. After researching it, and putting my own twist on the garland, I can say I am in love! Although it took forever to produce, the end result was FAR worth it! I plan on making more in the future. Be sure to check out this company, they have some amazing products!
Loving the gold accents. Have been eyeing these beauties for awhile now!
Here at Adalia Apparel, we believe in health, and in taking care of yourself. After trying countless and countless remedies and products for well nourished, glowing skin, I am proud to say I am on the verge of finding it. Here it is; TONS of water, eating healthy, exfoliation, sunscreen, a great body wash and COCOA BUTTER! I have used this brand of cocoa butter for years, and have always gotten compliments on my skin because of it (along with the other factors I mentioned). Plus its really cheap, so it doesn’t hurt your wallet. During the winter I always make sure to stock up on this item.
This bottle opener is perfect for opening those vintage soda bottles! I rarely drink soda, but this makes me want to drink it more often.
Again, while I was Christmas shopping with Tyler last week, I saw these in the store a Urban Outfitters. The price tag was a little too high for me to purchase it right there in the store, especially after all the Christmas shopping I did. Later on that evening I went onto their site to check out their sales, and saw that it was on sale and affordable! I couldn’t resist not passing it up! I am glad I didn’t because it arrived today, and I LOVE them! I can already tell this will turn into one of my staple pieces.

Swoon Worthy Saturday

Lately, I have been purging all the negativity out of my life and replacing it with positivity. Whether it is music, comments, people, TV shows and so on, it is sure to be GONE! I have been doing this for about a month and my outlook on life has change SO much! I love the new people in my life, and focusing on the compliments in my life rather then the negative UNTRUE statements, and by doing that I honestly can’t remember any negative comments! In addition to improving my life I am creating this post that will be new every saturday of items, people, places or things that I am ‘swooning’ over, and are thankful for that week. This will keep me accountable for staying positive and hopefully inspire you to write a list every week of the positivity in your life! Who wants to be negative? I, for one, can say it is so DRAINING, and is NOT attractive! Let’s start a movement, and glow with positivity!

This is a old picture. But I am BEYOND Thankful for Tyler, my ‘manly man’. Last night he directed his very first Christmas choir production at church! He is very talented in EVERYTHING, he can do so much from music to creating websites (he created ours, which was his first). I have never met such a hard working person in my life, a go getter attitude that is contagious and makes you want to jump in and help! I am very proud of him, and thankful to have him in my life.

I am loving the 70’s vintage vibe lately!

Michael Kors Dip-died classic oversized runway watch, gold. My very close friend showed me this watch tuesday night because she knows I have one of his watches and I literally wear it ALL the time! Needless to say, I have been saving up for this watch to add to my collection. Swoon.

Starbucks Greek Yogurt and Honey Parfait! I LOVE being healthy and fit. January will mark one year of my healthy life style change, where I have lost 30lbs and a few pants sizes in doing it. I work at Starbucks, so with this item being healthy and filling, naturally it becomes my breakfast with the early shifts I work. I have tried a lot of brands of greek yogurt, and by far starbucks has been my favorite! I’m not just saying that because I work there, trust me.                                                                                    Photo Credit: here

Georgina Duvet Cover  and Rosette Quilt

I have been swooning over these two sets for awhile now, so I think I am going to start saving up for one or the other. Unless I see a different set that catches my eye!

Tis’ the season to spread joy, love, peace, and PRESENTS! We here at Adalia Apparel are aware that gifts are not ‘ the reason for the season’, but we did mange to find some amazing gifts, and because they are all $25 or less they will not break the bank. As we all know, Santa may bring us some gifts that we want, but he surely doesn’t make our bills disappear. Be sure to stop by our store, not only will you be accomplishing your Christmas shopping, but by purchasing our products you will be playing in a active role of rescuing girls out of sex slavery. 15% of every sale goes to project rescue, a organization that is actively abolishing sex slavery as we speak. Truly a gift you cannot put a price on.

Wanting to catch eyes? Then try out a few different pairs of cat eyes. A vintage makeup trend that is sure to stop more then a few in their track. With your eyes doing all the talking, you’ll be sure to never enter a full room unnoticed. Is your style more of a subtle soft, or a daring dramatic? I love them both!

Thanksgiving has become a Holiday that I look forward to every year ever since Tyler and I started to date. Every week of Thanksgivng the whole Howell clan and I pile up in the car for the five hour drive to Two Egg. Yes, you read correctly. Two Egg is a real small city where Tyler is from. A place where Southern cooking is about as real as it gets. Where everyone has their own garden or farm and cans all their food. With the fast pace life I live full of activities I love and am blessed to do or be apart of, it is always nice to get away in a secluded place where time seems to slow down and you can kick back and relax, drinking everything in. I have never seen the stars shine as bright as they do here, so as you can tell the popular thing to do at night is go out by the fire and roast marshmallows! Like everyone else I have many things to be thankful for, I am blessed more then I deserve to be, and I look forward to this next year and all the blessings that will come across my way.  Tyler and I have been recording a lot of clips while we have been here, he is going to edit them and put them into a movie. I cannot wait to share this video with you all when it is made! In the mean time enjoy these pictures that I have been swooning over reminding me of Thanksgiving. To see the source of the photos just simply click them and the source will pop up. Enjoy!
